Here’s a line-up of some great events at Eden Park Branch Library this month. Check the June Source for more info on these and other programs across the parish.

A Stitch in Time Sewing Club: This club meets twice a month at Eden Park Branch Library, and has a wonderful time planning and working on projects. Bring your ideas and projects and socialize with fellow thread lovers. Sewing machines available. Wednesday, 6/4, and Wednesday, 6/18, at 5:00 pm

Eden Park’s Adult Book Club: We have a list of books we’d love to read and discuss, and we always love new members! Drop by and join us discussing each month’s selected read and socialize with fellow bookworms! Tuesday, 6/17, at 5:00 pm

Eden Park’s Poetry Club: Have a poem waiting to come out? Love poetry reads? Want to get started in poetry? Come by and join our poetry club which meets once a month at Eden Park Library. Wednesday, 6/18, at 6:00 pm

Eden Park Art Club:  We meet once a month to share our artwork, discuss ongoing projects, help newcomers get started, and display our artwork on the library wall. Thursday, 6/19, at 5:00 pm

Eden Park Garden Club: We swap seeds, talk about container gardening, help each other solve plant problems, and generally get a kick out of everything that started out as a seed in a pot. Bring plants to swap, stories to tell, and advice to share! We meet once a month at Eden Park.  Thursday, 6/19, at 5:00 pm

Writers’ Club: Have a story inside waiting to come out? Have you written one and need help proofreading? Want to discuss publishing or self publishing for print or ebooks? Come by Eden Park once a month for our writers’ club meeting. We discuss our projects, battle writer’s block, play writing games, and discuss all aspects of writing. We share tips and do some in-house writing with peer support. Saturday, 6/28, at 3:30 pm

Writing Club at Eden Park

Are you an aspiring writer? Do you have a story you want to publish? The writers’ club at Eden Park is the place to be! We will bounce ideas off of each other, play writing games designed to conquer writer’s block, discuss plot points, work on our own writing projects, proofread each other’s work, and discuss regular publishing and self-publishing. Some assistance will be available from a retired English teacher. Adults and young adults welcome. Join us this Saturday, March 22, at 3:30 p.m.
