Make of the Month: Dice Popper

EBRPL Make

make  /māk
Verb: Form (something) by putting parts together or combining substances; construct; create.

You can find so many creative projects through the library. One of the most interesting resources we have is MAKE Magazine. It is full of ideas and projects of all kinds!

Here is our Make of the Month courtesy of the good folks at Makezine.com. If you try this project please let us know and we’d love to see pictures! If you have ideas for other projects post them too!

Dice Popper

This is my version of a classic way to “roll” the die for a board game. The key to making this special die agitator is the clear plastic capsule. I found the right size, 2″ diameter and 1⅞” tall, in a vending machine — it’s the kind that holds inexpensive toys or trinkets. See the full project at Makezine.com
