  1. Due to family health problems (my father in law), we had not made a Recycled Reads sale in months, and had not been to the new location. We finally got a chance to go and just felt like we needed to let you guys know how disappointed we were (and we are those folks that are very supportive of the library system). The lighting was terribly poor making it difficult to even read titles, etc. The turnout of folks was good which meant terrible crowding making the aisles impossible to navigate. And not that you can help this, but the folks buying for “resale” with their carts and dollies of boxes of books just exacerbated the ability to move around. We normally find several books each month to supplement a kids reading program that we volunteer with, as well as a couple of items we are interested in, but we actually left purchasing nothing, as well as being frustrated that something we’ve always enjoyed had turned into something so frustrating.

Don’t know what could be changed at this point, but just wanted you to hear a patron’s observations.

    Thanks!

    1. I’m sorry you had an unpleasant experience and I will forward your comment and contact information to the people in charge of the Recycled Reads facility.
