Smithsonian Wild

EBRPL Cool, EBRPL Online Resource

Smithsonian Wild is a visual feast we wanted to share with you, featuring over 200,000 animal images. These photographs were taken using innovative motion triggered cameras left in the wild. As an animal would walk by it would activate the camera and you can see the results on this site.

You’ll see fantastic images of a wide variety of animals taken in their natural habitats around the world including China, Kenya, Malaysia, Peru and even Virginia! As well as the images you’ll find information about the projects and  links to find out more about each animal.

You can search for specific animals on the site or use the convenient A to Z index of animals. Take a walk on the wild side with Smithsonian Wild!
