Digital Tiger Roams South Kensington

EBRPL Art, EBRPL Cool, EBRPL Homepage Feature, EBRPL Website

Imagine this: You’re downtown, standing on the corner of Florida and Third St when you see a gigantic tiger running toward you! It trots. It runs full tilt. It stops and looks around. It’s a projection.

Artist Karolina Sobecka ran her digital tiger through the streets of South Kensington in London as part of the Victoria & Albert Museum’s DECODE  show.  This video documents the event and lets the artist explain her concept.

It’s fun and it’s cool – and it makes you wish you had happened upon that digital tiger one night in downtown BR.  Maybe LSU should commission Sobecka to create a version for Tiger Stadium!!
