Julia Child’s Kitchen

This is a fun online exhibit from the Smithsonian Institute that allows you to take an interactive tour of the legendary cook’s kitchen entitled ‘Bon Appetit!’

You can view her kitchen equipment and gadgetry and read about the stories behind them. The site includes a timeline of her career filled with facts and anecdotes.

On the companion site What’s Cooking? you can hear audio of stories told by Julia herself. If all this inspires you to try some of her recipes we have Julia Child’s cook books and DVDs available at the library.
